At mahārha, every jewellery piece is carefully checked and packed before dispatch. We want your purchase experience to feel clear, safe, and trustworthy.
Return & Exchange Window
Eligible products can be returned or exchanged within 7 days from the date of delivery.
To be eligible, the product must be:
- Unused, unworn, and in original condition
- Returned with original packaging, invoice, tags, certificates/cards, and any accessories received
- Free from scratches, damage, alteration, fragrance, stains, or signs of wear
mahārha reserves the right to reject a return or exchange if the product does not pass our quality check.
Products Not Eligible for Return
For hygiene, customisation, and precious metal value reasons, the following products are not eligible for return, unless they are received damaged, defective, or incorrect:
- Earrings, nose pins, naths, and other hygiene-sensitive jewellery if opened, used, or worn
- Customised, personalised, engraved, resized, or made-to-order jewellery
- Gold jewellery made on enquiry or custom order
- Gold coins, silver coins, bars, bullion, or rate-based precious metal products
- Gift cards, promotional/free items, and final-sale products
- Products damaged due to misuse, improper care, accidental breakage, or third-party repair
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Product
If you receive a damaged, defective, missing, or incorrect product, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

- Order number
- Clear photos of the product and packaging
- Unboxing video, if available
- Description of the issue
Once verified, we will arrange a replacement, exchange, or refund as applicable.
Refund Process
After we receive the returned product, it will go through a quality check. If approved, the refund will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.
The time taken for the amount to reflect in your account may depend on your bank, card provider, UPI provider, or payment gateway.
Shipping charges, COD charges, gift wrapping charges, and convenience fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to a mistake from our side, such as a wrong, damaged, or defective product.
Exchange Policy
Exchanges are subject to product availability. If the requested product is unavailable, we may offer store credit, another product option, or a refund where applicable.
If the exchanged product has a higher price, the customer must pay the difference. If it has a lower price, the balance may be issued as store credit or refunded, based on approval.
Return Shipping
For returns due to wrong, damaged, or defective products, mahārha will bear the return shipping cost.
For customer-choice returns or exchanges, including change of mind, style preference, or size preference, return shipping charges may be borne by the customer.
Order Cancellation
Orders can be cancelled before dispatch by contacting us as early as possible.
Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled and will be treated as a return request after delivery, subject to this policy.
Customised, personalised, made-to-order, gold enquiry orders, and precious metal coin/bar orders cannot be cancelled once processing has started.
Precious Metal Price Changes
Gold and silver prices may change based on market rates. Once an order is confirmed, mahārha will not offer refunds, adjustments, or compensation due to later price changes.

- Wear jewellery after perfume, makeup, hairspray, lotions, and skincare are fully dry.
- Remove jewellery first when you return home to avoid accidental pulls, sweat, or chemical exposure.
- Avoid sleeping in delicate chains, thin rings, bracelets, and anklets.
Silver Studio - 925 Sterling Silver
- 925 sterling silver is a precious metal. It may naturally react with air, moisture, and sulfur, causing tarnish over time.
- Keep silver dry. Remove it before showering, swimming, dish washing, workouts, or spa treatments.
- Store each piece in an airtight pouch or zip-lock bag to reduce oxidation.
Gold Atelier - Solid 9K / 14K / 18K / 22K Gold
- Solid gold is made for long-term value, but fine jewellery still needs gentle handling.
- Avoid pulling delicate chains or wearing thin rings during heavy physical activity.
- Avoid exposure to harsh chemicals, especially mercury and industrial cleaning agents.
- Clean occasionally in lukewarm water with mild soap, then rinse and pat dry with a lint-free cloth.
